• I started eating meat again but I've decided to go back to vegetarian or mostly vegetarian.

Great news, my mom does not have skin cancer- thank you for all your well wishes. I think it was a good scare for her so hopefully she'll stopping laying out in the Arizona sun w/ no sunscreen.

As for the posts, I took them down because I told J have a blog and he went a bit nuts wanting to know what's on it and trying to google it. All of the sudden I felt like I was standing in the middle of Time Square naked and panicked so I saved all my posts as drafts so I could tweak a few things to make it a little more difficult to find. Not that I have anything to hide on here, but I created this blog because my other blog became too well known with IRL friends and I was feeling like I had to censor certain things.

To compromise w/ J, I told him the address to my old blog if he made a promise to me that he would stop looking for this one. Now he could've just said that he was going to stop looking for it and lied but I trust him and I explained how much this blog and my readers (small and mighty) mean to me and I think he really understood and will respect my wishes. So there you have it- I'm a little too tired to publish all my posts now but I will sometime this week.

Working nights really throws off my already not-so-great circadian rythem. Somehow I just don't feel like going to sleep as soon as I get home at midnight but then I never want to get up at a reasonable hour the next day. It's such a vicious cycle. And then there's the question of what to eat, because really, who doesn't feel like eating after they get off work? I know I always do. So recently I've been feasting on my new NUT-FREE TRAIL MIX. Major score, I've never been able to have trail mix before now. Yummmmm!

It's been hovering around 110°F here in AZ and its sucking all the energy out of me. This weather is brutal, I can't even touch my bare legs to my seat in my car, Sophie almost gets overheated on walks, and my mom just found out she might have skin cancer on her nose (its getting tested now, but it doesn't look serious like melanoma which is good).

There is so much that I should be doing, but really, I just want to work on my blog and drink WINE! My mom got me a bottle of "the new 2 buck chuck" from Trader Joe's and despite the fact that the cork was whack and took me literally 10 minutes to open (and trust me, I've very experienced in that department!) it's actually delicious! It's a pinot grigio so its obviously light but its very tasty and refreshing- a perfect summer wine for an unbelievably affordable price.

I work at 7am tomorrow which I'm really not thrilled about b/c I'd like to try out a new church but I get out at 3:30 which is nice and I have Monday off (my only day off- ughhh 50+ hr work week). I'm going to play volleyball at a park w/ some friends in the evening and then go to another park for a summer concert series. Maybe you want to come with her? :)

For some reason, I'm really into changing the look of this blog- I just can't seem to get the right feel for it! I'm going to work on a new layout now so hopefully you'll see some changes soon!
